   Cabarrus Gold 3.6%

Cabarrus  Gold is named after a North Carolinian County of Cabarrus, as i remember it was also a dry county too! This ale has a good body to it considering the low ABV. It has Sterling and Apollo Hops added for aroma at the end of the boil.

Citraville APA 3.9%

Citraville is brewed with pale and aromatic malts, and as it implies by its name it has been loaded with citra hops for a peach and tropical fruit aroma.

                              January 8th Pale Ale 4.2%

As the glass fills with this pale amber beer its effervescent liveliness is obvious as is the aroma of honey. Then on tasting your palate is awakened with bubbles of ginger and a range of subtle spices. A glass of this beer sitting along side a plate of honey spiced ham would be perfect but would be equally at home accompanying rich roasted pork even theall time favourite Bangers & mash in a rich onion gravy. Try it with RoastTurkey too for a change from the usual glass of wine!!

January 8th is named after an American civil war song and also was the 1st brew ever on this date in 2009.

                        Orange Blossom Special Ale 4.4%

When you first raise a glass of this beautifully clear light beer to your mouth you get a fruit filled aroma which temps your palate and on the first sip you will experience an initial citrus hit which then bursts into a full mouthful of flavours. Honey comes through and then in contrast the sharp bitterness of orange. A unique taste experience.

This refreshing light beer is the ideal beverage for accompanying summer salads also with the delicate flavours of Thai & Chinese food.

Just imagine the tastes of a bold pork pie with slicesof ripe tomatoes & rocket salad or crusty bread with a chunk of mature cheddar both with a glass of Orange Blossom Special, HEAVEN!!

This is also named after a fiddle tune where the fiddle emulates a train.

Fox on the Run dark bitter 4.8%

Thick deep caramel flavours with a hint of chocolaty malt followed by a nutty bitterness are just some of the tastes of this traditional beer. A strong deep filling mouthful, although in what seems to be a contradiction, it's not a heavy beer and is vey drinkable. It is a big & bold beer this one!

Try it with plate of Binham Blue Cheese with oat biscuits or any strong blue cheese. Perfect too with a char - grilled rump steak steeped in mushroom & pepper sauce. Delicious!!

Named after a Manfred Man song..... which later became a bluegrass standard.

                          Devil's Dream ESB Ale 5%

A rich golden liquid brewed & infused with the flavours of the Cascade Hop. A full flavoured beer this with a smoothness of flavours that will include hints of lemons & limes, toffee apple even honey after the initial malty taste dissipates.

Perfect with a traditional Steak & Kidneypie or even a plate of mature English Cheeses.

Named after a classic Irish/American fiddle tune.

                                      EBA India Pale Ale 5.3%

A traditional india pale ale but again using a combo of west coast us hops at the end of the boiling for maximum aroma.

Ole Slew Foot's Premier Beer
"Friend of the Devil" 7.7%

A beautiful amber coloured liquid this is our finest beer and is a serious alternative to wine.

Rich in the flavours of pears & apples it has analmost champagne like texture with a tight bubbly fizz, unlike most ales. After what will be a delightful first taste surprise the second mouthful will confirm the richness of this beer with flavours hinting at brandy & calvados. Garlic Roasted Chicken, Rich Roasted Porkwith apple sauce, even the dessert "Tarte Tartin" will be enhanced beyond compare with this superb beer!! So forget the wine and experience the difference that "Friend of the Devil" offers!!

Classic song covered by many including the Gratefull Dead and Tony Rice.
